Balanced Man Triathlon 2007
2007 marks the second annual Balanced Man Triathlon, a triathlon organized to benefit Youth AIDS, an organization devoted to helping children born with aids, as well as educating the world about AIDS and AIDS prevention. Proceeds collected from this event will go to this commendable organization.
We are excited to announce that this year's Balanced Man Triathlon will be an official Super Sprint Triathlon, consisting of a 400 meter swim, 10 K bicycle ride, and 2.5 K run. The event will take place in scenic Logan, Utah, beginning on the Utah State University Campus and concluding in a park at the mouth of Logan Canyon. To celebrate the conclusion of the race a barbeque will be held at the finish line. Prizes for the top competitors in each division will be awarded at that time.
This year the registration fees are as follows:
Preregistration (registration completed before 04/21/07)
- Student: $15.00
- Non-Student: $25.00
- 2 or 3 Man Team: $25.00
Day of Registration (registration completed on 04/21/07):
- Student: $20.00
- Non-Student: $30.00
- 2 or 3 Man Team: $30.00
Registration fees will include participation in the triathlon, a Balanced Man Triathlon T-Shirt, as well as a meal at the closing barbeque.
Registration for the event may be completed in one of three ways.
- Online: The registration form may be downloaded from this site and then emailed to SigEp@cc.usu.edu. The registration fee may be taken care of with a credit or debit card through PayPal.
- In order to send money via PayPal you will need to do the following:
- Visit www.Paypal.com
- Click on "Send Money" at the top of the page
- Enter in the respected email addresses and amount of registration payment.
- Please send money to oz_11_11@yahoo.com
- NOTE: there is a "See Demo" button on the "Send Money" page if you are unfamiliar with PayPal.
- A confirmation email will be sent to all applicants within 48 hours.
- On Campus: Competitors may preregister for the triathlon by picking up a registration sheet at the HYPER information desk and submitting it with cash or check to the location indicated on the form. Competitors will also have the opportunity to enroll the week of the race in the TSC on the first floor at the Balanced Man Triathlon table.
- The Day of the Race: Competitors may register the day of the race with cash or check in the HYPER during check-in. This will occur from 10am - 11:30 am the day of the race.
